This environment has brought out the “credit repair specialist” who will promise the world including getting rid of bad items on your credit report even if they are legitimate. Be very careful with these companies. In California, they must be licensed as a “Credit Services Organization.” If you have already paid a company to do this for you and have later found out they are not licensed or if you paid and have found they have not done anything or lied to you, contact our office.
